Knowing(2009)

Academy Award winner Nicholas Cage (gone in Sixty Seconds) stars in this thrilling sci-fi adventure that will leave you begging for more with your jaw on the floor!

Cage plays John Koestler, an atheist college professor who gets wrapped up into a series of strange events when his son brings home a piece of paper covered in odd markings. Soon after, Koestler (Cage) finds himself racing against time to solve what may be the greatest, and most important puzzle inhuman history. His challenge is not helped with the reoccuring presence of many strangers who appearences may or may not be for the good. But it's no question that "Knowing" will have you on the edge of your seat.

I give this movie an 8, and once you've seen the movie you'll know why! The plot is a little out there so i give the cast and crew props for doing this film as well as it was done, i think that this is one of the best films Cage has ever been in! Go see it!

Seven Pounds(2008)

I can sum up this movie in one word: Excellent! Will Smith is at his best in this dramatic tear-jerker that also stars Rosario Dawnson, Woody Harrelson, and Michael Ealy.

Smith plays Ben Thomas, a lonely tax collector who catches the eye  of Emily Posa (Dawnson), a terminally ill woman who is in need of a heart transplant. She is just one of the seven people Thomas(Smith) contacts in an effort to clear his very heavy consience.

On a scale of one to ten i'd give this film a nine for it's compelling screenplay and for the amazing job the actors, especially Will Smith, gave in the film. I cannot believe that the movie wasn't nominated for a single academy award, but stupid movies like Their Will Be Blood do. I recommend Seven Pounds to anyone who is interested in a good time.
